SC13 is soliciting submissions for posters in cutting-edge,
interesting research and education in high performance computing under
these two categories:

REGULAR AND ELECTRONIC RESEARCH POSTERS: these posters display
cutting-edge, interesting research and work in progress in high
performance computing, storage, networking and analysis.

EDUCATION POSTERS: these posters put emphasis on curriculum
development and pedagogy, and best teaching practices of interest to
undergraduate HPC educators.

Posters provide an excellent opportunity for short presentations and
informal discussions with conference attendees.  Posters will be
prominently displayed for the duration of the conference, giving
presenters a chance to showcase their latest results and
innovations. Authors of accepted posters will have the opportunity to
prepare extended abstracts that will be archived with other SC13
materials in IEEE or ACM digital libraries. It is also planned that
the presented posters will be digitally archived and made publicly
available after the conference. A best poster award will be presented
based on quality of research work and quality of poster presentation.

SCHEDULE AND SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:

Submission date:  July 31, 2013
Notification:     September 9, 2013
Submission Site:  http://submissions.supercomputing.org

All posters can be submitted within up to two of the following
categories: Algorithms, Applications, Architecture and Networks, and
System Software.

For Regular Posters: Please submit a draft or mock-up of the poster
(1-2 pages, please) as you would like it to appear at the poster
session. Complete or preliminary work is preferred; use placeholders
where necessary. The poster size limit is 8 feet wide by 4 feet high.

For Electronic Posters: This year’s poster session will feature a
limited number of electronic posters (e-posters). E-posters will be
visualized on 50-inch LCD displays; thus they should have great
graphics and interactive potential. You are expected to drive the
displays from your laptop. If you would like to present an electronic
poster, please submit a draft or mock-up of the electronic poster
(i.e., a storyboard or a description of how you will use the display
to present at the poster session). Complete or preliminary work is
preferred; use placeholders (e.g., for videos you plan to include)
where necessary.

For Education Posters: Please submit a draft or mock-up of the poster
(1-2 pages, please) as you would like it to appear at the poster
session. The poster size limit is 8 feet wide by 4 feet high.

For all posters, a 2-page extended abstract (including references) in
the SC13 technical paper format (see
http://sc13.supercomputing.org/content/papers) is recommended but not
mandatory.

A panel of experts will evaluate the submissions based on novelty of
approach, significance of contribution, and quality of work.

ACM Student Research Competition Posters and Scientific Visualization
Showcase submissions are available at different SC13 submission
WebPages.
