THanks! I am already using ipmitool. Just wasn't aware this can set
the ARP interval (should have read that manpage closer). :)

Found the way to do it:

ipmitool -H 172.16.0.1 -U root -f ~/ipmi_pw -I lanplus lan set 1 arp
interval <seconds>
