I'd be interested to hear > ways that gluster is even easier to deploy than PVFS Haven't set up PVFS, but after reading some articles I get the feeling that it can only write data using a striped method across IOD's. Gluster gives you a bit more flexibility and robustness since there's also the distribute write method and mirroring options.
