[Beowulf] dedupe filesystem

I'm quite interested in this discussion.
De-duplication seems to be all the rage in 'corporate IT'.
Surely the purpose is mainly to deal with storing many copies of the
same emails (or Excel files... etc.)

In HPC one would hope that all files are different, so de-duplication
would not be a feature which you need.
Of course, 'hoping' is not good enough - and I'm interested in what
tools you find Michael.
