[Beowulf] nvidia card id?

On Debian-derived systems, such as Ubuntu, there's a utility to  
download the latest PCI ID database, to give you a fighting chance:

/usr/bin/update-pciids

It's probably present on other distros too, or something similar at  
any rate.
