But that's no surprise, as Renato isn't an MPI guy, he's an InfiniBand guy. I took him to task soon after that at a conference during a panel session, and he understood Patrick's point much better after some back and forth. We know lots of ways to make MPI faster. InfiniBand is missing many of them. -- greg
