I known an academic person who try to improve math, science, and
technology education at higher education and K-12 institutions in USA.
He is also supported by National Science Foundation. His name is Osman
Yasar. He is a professor and chair of the Department of Computational
Sciences at SUNY College at Brockport. He also have a web page about
"Computational Science and Engineering Programs" for all types of
