you might want to consider "testdrive" possibilities offered by the major 
hardware vendors. E.g. you can try a zseries IBM at 
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/enable/site/testdrive/zseries/,
Intel hardware at http://www.intel.com/cd/ids/developer/asmo-na/eng/99138.htm,
HP hardware at http://www.testdrive.hp.com,
and so on.
