Hi All, I just wanted to pass this message on that I got from Tyan yesterday. It's from a FAQ for the S2891 motherboard ... " Why during the installation of SuSE 9.3 does the installation does complete successfully, but when you try to boot, only a black screen appears? This is a kernel bug. You have to boot with kernel parameter "maxcpus=1". Then recompile to kernel version 2.6.12-rc3. ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/testing/linux-2.6.12-rc3.tar.bz2 " -- Dr. Donald B.
