Hi, Please help me in understanding these results. GAMESS with Sockets ---------------------------------------- CPU timing information for all processes ======================================== 0: 21.290000 + 5.890000 = 27.180000 1: 21.420000 + 4.100000 = 25.520000 2: 21.360000 + 5.710000 = 27.070000 3: 21.240000 + 3.650000 = 24.890000 ---------------------------------------- GAMESS with mpich ---------------------------------------- CPU timing information for all processes ======================================== 0: 44.480000 + 5.580000 = 50.060000 1: 46.220000 + 4.340000 = 50.560000 2: 0.030000 + 0.110000 = 0.140000 3: 0.020000 + 0.050000 = 0.070000 ---------------------------------------- Its Linux 2.6.12-rc2 and SMP (4-way) machine. thanks & regards, parinay -- easy is right begin right and you're easy continue easy and you're right the right way to go easy is to forget the right way and forget that the going is easy....
