I've got a Netgear FS526T (24 port Fast Ethernet, 2 port GBit Ethernet, Layer 2 switch, ~170 EUR) which is doing okay so far. It has web interface with switch sttus, IP access list, port configuration, packet statistics, VLAN, trunking, monitor, etc. It's an unremarkable performer; haven't made any stress testing though. I'm looking into buying a HP ProCurve 2650 (a Level 3, 48 ports + 2 GBit), which seems to sell for about ~730 EUR. Any negative/positive opinions on this particular product? IIRC HP ProCurve line is generally well regarded in the community. -- Eugen* Leitl leitl ______________________________________________________________ ICBM: 48.07078, 11.61144 http://www.leitl.org 8B29F6BE: 099D 78BA 2FD3 B014 B08A 7779 75B0 2443 8B29 F6BE http://moleculardevices.org http://nanomachines.net -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
