If the $3,000 system is only 1 Ghz, that's not so great price performance, compared to say a 2.2 Ghz Opteron with a SPECfp peak of 1691. Perhaps HP does have a faster CPU for the rx1600 and didn't submit a SPEC score for it? But then what's the price? -- greg
