We have a small cluster with KVM and the big one w/ serial connections using Cyclades and I like them both. I think at a certain size the quagmire of KVM switches and cables-even with the best KVM set ups become unwieldy. A lot of work can be done from my office using the serial cables, but even more important we have the infrastructure to capture screen data through the Cyclades and that can be worth a whole lot... That being said, I like my crash carts.
