One just can't generalize about all GBE switches. There are some that are high throughput (Anritsu/NEC, small-port-count-Cisco) and others where latency is non-trivial (HP comes to mind from those I've tested...). gerry Justin Moore wrote: >>Additionally the latency on Gigabit is simply to high for large >>clusters.
