Myricom highly recommends the Serverworks chipsets, and most of the
recently-built large Myrinet clusters followed their advice. Benchmarks
show it's a pretty damn good PCI implementation.

But for gigE, surely you've got software bandwidth limits far more
important than the PCI limit?
