We have been doing some performance tests on the LAPack, have seen factor 2 difference between both the PGI and G77 (on Linux) compilers and the Digital compiler (on WINNT). Is there a compiler version of the Digital library for Linux? Is there a compiler that delivers the same performance as the Digital? Is there a different version of the LAPack library that provides better performance?
