Hi! I also have the FA311 and it caused me nothing but trouble under Linux. But I wonder why you take the VIA-rhine driver. On Scyld it clearly says that the card uses the National Semiconductor chip. Anyway, try ./mii-diag -F <speed> <interface> , this should force the settings. Ferdinand
