Hello, we are using a PC's clusters at the Instituto de Fisica at UNAM, we are trying to run an application that needs the number in /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax to be increased, I can change the number with echo "134217728" > /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax but only in the master node, we are using Scyld, and when I try: bpsh -a echo "134217728" > /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax and then I do: bpsh -a cat /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax it answers: 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 33554432 meaninng that it is not changing anything... anyone can help me??? thanks a lot in advance. natorro
