I just read this announcement from Intel: http://cnet.com/news/0-1006-200-5549457.html?tag=mn_hd They have open sourced a SCSI over IP package. Code is on Source Forge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/intel-iscsi Storage over IP seems to be on it's way.
