linux vs tru64 on alpha

Hi all, What are the pros and cons of using either linux or tru64 on a cluster of alpha equipped nodes? I realize that one reason for using linux is the fact that it is free, but apart from that? If one can afford it, would the cluster in some sense be "better" if loaded with tru64? Thanks, /jon
