how to benchmark my application?

Hi, everyone,
I have programed a parallel application based on
JIAJIA, which is a DSM developed by Chinese Academy of
Sciences. I can run the application on our beowulf
cluster with five nodes correctly. But I want to
acquire more detailed information of the application
about computing time,communication and so on. What
benchmark should I choose to experiment with my
application? Where can I get it?
