Hi all, With the help of scyld I was finally able to get my hard drives configured and now they slaves are booting off of the hard drives BUT, they only come up in the unavailable state. Any ideas why this would be happening. I did modify the /etc/beowulf/fstab from the floppy boot to the hda boot see below but I've modified nothing else. #/dev/ram3 / ext2 fs_size=65536 0 0 /dev/hda1 beoboot ext2 defaults 0 0 /dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0 /dev/hda3 / ext2 defaults 0 0 none /proc proc defaults 0 0 none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0 $MASTER:/home /home nfs defaults 0 0 -- Robert Sand. mailto:rsand at d.umn.edu US Mail University of Minnesota Duluth 10 University Dr. Information Technology Systems and Services MWAH 176 144 MWAH Duluth, MN 55812 Phone 218-726-6122 fax 218-726-7674 "Walk behind me I may not lead, Walk in front of me I may not follow, Walk beside me and we walk together" UTE Tribal proverb.
