Which would actually be a brilliant move on their part, I think. I even think IBM corporate culture has come far enough that they MIGHT be able to cope with being a premier non-proprietary resource provider for the OS community. It looks like the price per share isn't substantially different from what IBM was offering, but either way, this is a much better fit.
