[Beowulf] SCore MPI on quad core

Has anyone tried -- or, better, succeeded with -- SCore MPI on quad core systems, specifically Barcelonas? It worked fine before they were upgraded from 2×2 Opteron cores to 2×4, but now it's performing much worse than other MPIs (with gig ethernet). I'm not sure exactly what the measurements involved until someone comes back from holiday or I find the notes, but it's bad enough that we're only running 4-core jobs currently. (We have commercial support, but...) Thanks for any info or ideas.
