Most MPI codes only run as fast as their slowest yep, me too. anything which will prevent each process from behaving the same as all the others. type of cpu, clock, amount of memory, interconnect, even size of disk. in the strictest sense, it's really only single-core nodes that can be fully homogenous... regards, mark hahn.
