All of our clusters now ship with IPMI management. I would imagine this
goes for other cluster vendors. As you say, it offers a lot of advantages.
(Quick unabashed commercial plug - we offer a dedicated appliance which
uses IPMI and/or APC power distribution units to monitor and do power
control on nodes, web interface)
