[Beowulf] mpich2 and mpiexec from Ohio SC

Good question! It does hang as well with the mpich2's own mpiexec, so I guess the problem is not with mpiexec from OSC ... Any suggestions on what can be wrong? The system is 64-bit CentOS, with 2.4.21-32.ELsmp kernel. The compilers were gcc and Intel Fortran 9.0, both in 64 bits.
