I'd actually learnt that they had a "topless" version of Windows NT, but no 
HPC person would ever want to use a GUI-ful and *slow* system for 
doing HPC.

I can't even imagine how I would "rsh" into a node and do some mods. That 
would be the ultimate purgatory for parallel programming.... Brrrrr.
