This is irrelevant to your question, and 
maybe you are already aware of the problem,
but using channel bonding with ( at least 1 $ / version 7) 
 Scyld requires some  modifications to 
beoboot and to the kernel, of course.

We managed to get a solution that works, in case
anyone is interested...
