Hi, I'm guessing there are three issues: 1) The PCI bus can push about 80 MB/s to the card. 2) The Linux TCP stack isn't the greatest in the world. 3) The Scyld MPI implementation is based on MPICH and p4. We saw a major performance increase by using UDP directly on 100-bT. I hear that LAM's implementation of MPI is much more efficient.
