It looks like, on closer inspection, I am missing the boot ROM portion of the card. There is a chip socket empty on the upper right third (as you look at the card vertically with the PCI bus at the bottom) of the card. This, according to the 3Com site is where the MBA boot ROM lives. It is absent from my cards. Looks like Plan B: PXELINUX Anyone with any other insights are welcome to comment.
